Position

An opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Radiographer at Ayrshire Central Hospital.

What you will do:

As a Specialist Radiographer you will be required to work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing a high quality screening service to the eligible population of Ayrshire & Arran and Dumfries & Galloway Health Board areas. You will be responsible for carrying out routine mammography screening as well as taking part in the assessment process.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

Applicants must be HCPC UK registered and hold – BSc. (Hons.) Radiography or equivalent. All applicants with a mammography qualification must have completed the SABI PgCert Mammography or equivalent. For international qualifications a copy of the certificate and course transcript must be provided along with individual module and general course Learning Outcomes. An outline of clinical experience obtained during the training period must also be included. If no previous experience the successful applicant will be required to undertake the SABI PgCert in Mammography and full training will be provided.

All International applicants must also confirm their English language proficiency by providing evidence of an International English language Test System (IELTS) overall score of 7.0 with no element below 6.5.
