An opportunity has arisen for an experienced dietitian to join the Paediatric Dietetic team at the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital.
The post holder will have a clinical remit and caseload working with children both in the acute wards and outpatient clinic setting, as well as supporting wider service improvement projects.
Our service recognises the value of ongoing CPD, a robust clinical supervision system and taking a quality improvement approach to our service design. We work with dietetic colleagues across Grampian on shared issues and initiatives such as clinical effectiveness, patient safety and patient centred care, with the delivery of a high quality dietetic service high on our agenda. We participate in undergraduate student training, taking students for their B & C placements.
For AHP posts within Grampian, there is a requirement to provide services flexibly to meet the needs of service users. This may include providing services over weekends and extended hours when necessary.
