Senior Clinical Fellow
We are offering a clinical fellowship in the Trauma & Orthopaedics unit at Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
Glasgow Royal Infirmary is a trauma unit and also provides significant tertiary orthopaedic trauma and elective services. This post will provide excellent exposure to the whole range of adult orthopaedic practice, with an opportunity for a subspecialised focus in chosen areas.
Start dare: 6th August 2025
End date: 4th August 2026
Duties of the post
The SCF will work as part of the Orthopaedic Team undertaking inpatient and outpatient duties at a middle grade level. Brief outline of duties involved is shown below:
- Management of Elective & Trauma patients.
- Second on-call for Trauma (SpR on-call rota), providing cover for the CT/CDF on-call in the hospital.
- Elective & Trauma Theatre duties as required.
- Orthopaedic Clinic & Fracture Clinic duties as required.
- Daily ward rounds.
- Participate in the Unit Educational Programme
