Position:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Information Analyst based at University Hospital Crosshouse on a Fixed-term or Secondment basis until December 2025.

What you will do:

NHS Ayrshire and Arran’s Clinical and Care Governance Unit are seeking an enthusiastic self-motivated individual with experience of robust data analysis and interpretation of information from a variety of sources for a secondment opportunity until December 2025. The post holder will deliver a range of support focused on extraction of information from national, regional and local data sources, in-depth statistical analysis and presentation of data in accessible and meaningful ways.

As a member of the Clinical and Care Governance Unit, this role offers a unique opportunity for the post holder to play a key role in supporting quality improvement and assurance programmes within.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

The post holder is required to communicate analytical/statistical complex matters to non-analytical/statistical professionals and be able to advise, persuade and motivate staff on interpretation of data and outcomes.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate an ability to engage with teams and be able to work under their own initiative and have strong communication skills.
