Maintenance Worker Higher Level (Plumber)

NHS Grampian Estates Dept has an opportunity for a skilled Plumber Craftsperson to help us to provide our maintenance support service within Hospital and Healthcare facilities in Aberdeen.

This post is a permanent, full time post and offers excellent terms and conditions.

This post is a Band 4 position. Starting salary £30,353 + £4,200 approx. Recruitment and Retention Premier (not permanent) + 1 in 7 weeks on call approx. £1,500 (total approx. £36,053).

The applicant should have completed an apprenticeship and have experience working as part of a maintenance team with experience in Water hygiene and legionella control (SHMT 04-01), Water Service installation and distribution, Drainage system operation and maintenance.

Work will be based at the Foresterhill campus working as part of an in house maintenance team covering all trades.

Training in specialised aspects of the role will be provided and there are often opportunities for career progression for suitable candidates within the organisation.
