An opportunity has arisen to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Administrator within the Aberdeen City Health and Social Care Partnership, AHP Administration Team.

The AHP Administration Team provides clerical and administrative support to four Allied Health Professions: Speech & Language Therapy, Dietetics, Podiatry and Physiotherapy. This post will predominately support the Podiatry service, however the post holder will be required to provide cover for colleagues during periods of leave, or as operationally required.

The post holder will work closely with their AHP Administration colleagues, in addition to the Business Support and Podiatry management teams, to ensure the administrative needs of the clinical team and patients accessing the service, are met.

The successful candidate will require excellent IT, communication and organisational skills and must provide a confident, courteous and friendly approach to patients and visitors accessing the department. Applicants should be able to work well both as part of a team and on their own; using their initiative and judgement, as required. Applicants should have a proactive and professional approach to work, and ideally have previous office experience within a similar healthcare environment.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to multi-task, whilst prioritising their workload to ensure deadline are met.

This office based role is a varied and interesting post, which will offer considerable job satisfaction to the ideal candidate.
