Clinical Research Support Worker
37 Hours FT for 2 years, x 2 posts
We are looking for someone to join our clinical research team as a Band 3 Clinical Research Support Worker. The suitable candidates should be interested in an exciting, diverse, and challenging post, consisting of clinical and administrative duties, and to be situated within the various Clinical Research Facilities within Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
Previous experience in clinical research would be an advantage however, consideration will be given to the right calibre of candidate with suitable previous experience, and with a keen willingness to learn in a developing role. The candidate will require excellent communication skills, be able to show initiative, and have the ability to work flexibly and actively in response to clinical research demands.
Through training and supervision you will develop the necessary clinical and administrative research skills required to deliver exceptional clinical research care in order to support patients involved in clinical research studies, and you will work alongside a well-established team of supportive and approachable clinical research nurses. Duties will include data input, filing, sample collection and processing, and some patient facing clinical tasks.
The role may be of interest to those from various healthcare professional disciplines for example healthcare support workers and phlebotomists.
