An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, recovery orientated Band 6 nurse to join our Dundee Community Mental Health Teams. This post will be based at Community Mental Health Team East at the Alloway Centre but may be required to move to other areas of our community-based services depending upon future changes and service developments.
As an integral member of the multidisciplinary team, the successful candidate will provide specialised interventions for adults experiencing a range of mental health challenges. The selected individual will receive comprehensive support from our dedicated and experienced nursing team, fostering the ongoing development and consolidation of clinical, professional and leadership expertise.
This post provides the opportunity to collaborate closely with a diverse range of professionals, including Psychiatry, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Peer Support, Physiotherapy, Speech and Language Therapy, and Dietetics. Collaborative engagement with partners from local voluntary sectors, advocacy services, employment services, and care provider agencies will further enrich your daily practice.
The successful candidate must show continuous professional development and demonstrate leadership skills. There will be an expectation that the post holder will actively participate in creatively developing the service.
You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register

Hours of work are: 9am-5pm Monday – Friday however there is an aspiration for community services to be 7 days per week which all post holders would be required to participate in.
