The shift pattern for this position is 2 days per week 9am - 5pm.

South Community Mental Health service has an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist with mental health experience. This is a part time permanent contract for a band 6 occupational therapist within an Adult Community Mental Health Team. Responsibilities will include mental health/occupational therapy assessment and treatment for individuals and groups residing in the south side of Glasgow. Also required will be knowledge and experience in the care and treatment of adults with mental health difficulties including appropriate interventions.
The successful applicant will have experience of:
- working in a mental health context
- and confident with their core occupational therapy skills with proven effective verbal and written communication skills.
You will receive operational and professional support and supervision from the lead occupational therapist, will gain access to appropriate training to maintain your continued professional development. It is essential you have a Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy with current HCPC registration. This post requires PVG Scheme Membership/Disclosure Scotland Check.
