This is a permanent, part time position.
The shift pattern for this position is 4 Week Rota – OOH Period
(Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours.
The post holder will overlap on weekend shifts to assist Team Leaders to deliver the smooth running of the GP Out of Hours Service (OOH) as well as support the function of booking appointments in NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde (NHS GGC) during busy periods. The post holder is required to provide guidance to all Support Staff. The post holder is expected to cover shifts when a Team Leader is not on duty. The post holder main duties will primarily be to assist Team Leader to oversee the GP OOH Service as well as the appointment booking and escalate if required as per escalation plans.
You will organise and set up GP OOH PCEC daily appointment diaries, ensure that all calls passed to NHS GGC from NHS 24 are processed and dispatched in the appropriate manner to ensure a safe and efficient Clinical Service. Having a Driving licence preferred. You should have good computer knowledge, excellent communication skills and proficient I.T skills.
