How to Apply – NHS Lothian Careers
NHS Lothian are delighted to accept applications from newly qualifying midwives to apply for Band 5 Preceptorship Midwife permanent and temporary positions. These posts will enable you to consolidate your training and provide the full range of midwifery care across all care settings including Community, Outpatient, and Inpatients in Lothian Maternity Service.
As a newly registered midwife and autonomous practitioner you will plan and implement maternity care for 'high' and 'low' risk women within an integrated maternity service. The post holder will lead the management of low-risk pregnancies and births and work closely with the multi-professional team within the acute and primary care setting.
