An exciting opportunity has arisen to take part in a 6-week paid summer placement with NHS Lanarkshire, in partnership with North Lanarkshire Council.
To be eligible, you must be a current North Lanarkshire Senior Phase school pupil and be available over the summer to take part in this opportunity.
This placement is 27.5 hours per week over 5 days Monday to Friday.
During your placement you will:
- Gain an awareness of working for NHS Lanarkshire and in the healthcare sector
- Shadow and take part in admin or healthcare-based duties
- Meet NHS staff to get an idea of their job roles and responsibilities
- Take part in networking events with the other placement attendees
