The shift pattern for this post is Monday to Friday with the hours to be agreed.
Please note the salary is pro rata for part time hours.
We are seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant to join the Emergency Department team at Glasgow Royal Infirmary, providing comprehensive and confidential support to the General Manager and Clinical Service Manager.
This permanent, part-time role (29.6 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours) involves ensuring the smooth running and efficiency of the department's administration, supporting the wider management team's work and priorities.
The ideal candidate will possess an HND or equivalent in business administration, significant PA experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and exceptional organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently, manage demanding timescales, and adapt to changing circumstances and last-minute requirements.
Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
You will have excellent organisational and communication skills and can work effectively and efficiently as part of a team. The ability to work unsupervised whist using your own initiative is essential, as is being able to work to challenging timescales by organising and prioritising your workload accordingly. Having the flexibility to adapt to change and last-minute demands is essential.
You will possess an HND or equivalent in business administration. You will have significant PA experience, and an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages. You should be highly experienced in taking accurate minutes and have excellent interpersonal skills.
