We currently have a 28-hour Band 3 vacancy within Borders Sexual Health services.
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our team.
The post holder will be required to work from our main base within Galashiels health centre, and across other NHS Borders sites where we hold our peripheral clinics. The role will involve working in our reception - answering the telephone, managing appointments, greeting service users on arrival and checking them in, and creating and sending clinical letters and referrals. The post holder will also be involved in assisting nursing and medical staff during procedures to support both them and the persons attending the clinic. Other duties will include cleaning of clinical rooms and equipment and the ordering/management of stock supplies.
We are a small, very supportive team, and you will benefit from fortnightly team education sessions.
It is vital that the successful candidate holds a full UK driving license and has access to their own vehicle as daily travel will be essential. Equally we are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in sexual health/contraception and is always respectful of patient confidentiality.
