Occupational Therapy Service

Occupational Therapy Clinical Support Worker, Band 3

Surgical Team, fulltime, Fixed Term 7 months


We have an exciting opportunity to join our friendly acute Occupational Therapy service.

You will work with minimal supervision to implement agreed Occupational Therapy plans as prescribed by the qualified Occupational Therapist, including ongoing Occupational Therapy interventions/rehabilitation. You will be supported by a qualified therapist to support the patient journey and develop your skills and be part of a dedicated therapy and multidisciplinary team.

Having an awareness of the role of Occupational Therapy in the acute setting and clearly demonstrating this in your application is essential. You will be compassionate, show initiative, and have good communication and time management skills and work well within a team.

There will be a commitment to weekend working in the Occupational Therapy team at RIE as part of the 5 over 7 day working pattern.

Therapy Services actively support staff development through appraisal process, supervision and CPD opportunities.
