A vacancy for UK Registered Nurse has become available in Ward 2, Crieff Community Hospital.

Crieff Community Hospital inpatient unit is one of two inpatient wards delivering care within the South Perthshire and Kinross Locality. Ward 2 is an 18 bedded unit providing rehabilitation, step down and palliative care for the communities of Crieff, Comrie and the surrounding areas.

We are looking for a UK Registered Nurse with excellent communication skills, to join the Multi-disciplinary team within our 18 bedded ward.

The role of the registered nurse in a community hospital is diverse and allows nurses to develop experience in many aspects of patient care and multidisciplinary team working. Within the Community Hospital setting there is sufficient dedicated resource to ensure we can plan and deliver high-quality person-centered care alongside a highly experienced, dynamic and committed team that takes pride in the quality of the care we provide to maintain or improve lives.

As an integral part of the team this post allows the registrant to work alongside and gain knowledge in social care provision, working in partnership with the integrated health and social care team, families and carers which promotes a holistic approach that provides inclusive care for patients in a sub acute setting.

There will be opportunities to work across both hospital inpatient units as service need requires and as health and social care integration embeds there may be opportunities to work flexibly within and across inpatient and community nursing teams testing and developing new models of care e.g. Community Care and treatment services, community nursing, minor illness/injury units and integrated care teams.
