Arts Psychotherapist - Band 6

We are looking for reliable and dependable supplementary staff in the role mentioned above who are good team workers and who are able to provide compassionate and high-quality person-centred care.

The Arts Therapies Service provides Art, Music & Drama Therapy services to children, young people, adults and older adults with complex needs across all of NHS Lothian and specific additional partners (i.e. local authority social care and third sector organizations). Services may be offered within NHS venues or other community facilities.

All Staff Bank roles are to cover temporary shortages across NHS Lothian. Interested candidates are required to evidence on application, awareness of the Staff Bank function and individual commitment to being part of our supplementary workforce. Applicants are required to evidence current Registration in your application form and at point of interview which will be held in The Comely Bank Centre. Candidates must highlight relevant education to determine arts modality.

Work is allocated on an "as and when required basis" with different shift patterns available to suit flexible working. There are no guarantees of a fixed number of hours each week as this is a demand led service. Bank workers can submit their availability in advance and shifts can be booked either online or by telephoning the Staff Bank office.
