An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to work in Perth and Kinross Health and Social Care Partnership. The post will enhance the multidisciplinary team to deliver inpatient and community rehabilitation and support the development of new models of care with an integrated approach.
The team are looking for an Occupational Therapist who is keen to be part of developing an innovative and forward-looking service and will promote the value of Occupational Therapy, providing high quality assessment and rehabilitation. You will be required to have relevant Occupational Therapy experience within physical rehabilitation and an understanding of the principles of health and social care integration. You should be passionate about providing excellent person-centred treatment and care, and value honest and open communication. You will be fully supported by senior staff, with supervision, appraisal and regular CPD opportunities.
Clinically you will work in partnership with people to provide Occupational Therapy interventions within their own homes, communities and inpatient environments.
In line with the evidence base and the strategic direction of NHS Tayside, the Allied Health Professions will be moving towards 7-day working. This is for improved outcomes and to maximise a person-centred equitable approach to care. Therefore all new contracts for AHP staff will be for a 5 out of 7-day service/rota to enable the service to be ready to move to a safe and effective 7-day service.
