Applications are invited for the above post based in the South Laboratory, Victoria Hospital. The laboratory is equipped with Sysmex haematology platforms, Grifols Blood Transfusion analysers and Roche pre analytics, tracked analyser platforms and multiple POCT devices. This post represents an excellent opportunity to work in a new facility with state of the art equipment.
This post involves rotation through the various sections within the departments and the post holder will be will be required, following suitable training, to cover the 24/7 laboratory service. Working hours are 37.0 per week average and consist of early, day, late, night and weekend shifts when suitably trained. We are looking for a member of staff that can demonstrate team spirit, initiative, flexibility and enthusiasm.
The department is UKAS accredited and is IBMS approved for Support Staff training.
