A vacancy has arisen within the Endoscopy Department for an Endoscopy Decontamination Technician.

You will be based at Forth Valley Royal Hospital in Larbert working within the Endoscopy Decontamination Unit. Endoscopy requires an enthusiastic person who is flexible in their approach, has an eye for detail and will enjoy working within a busy, friendly small team. Across site working may at times be required.

The core activity of this position is to provide a compliant decontamination process, which includes manual & automated cleaning, disinfection and storage of flexible endoscopes.

The department mainly operates between 8am & 6pm Monday to Friday (please note this can be extended to 8pm). Occasional weekend working is required Saturday & Sunday 8am to 4pm. There is a requirement to be flexible throughout these hours when required.

The duties of this post require the successful candidate to complete a Level 2 Disclosure Scotland check.
