An opportunity has arisen for an individual to join the team at Dundonald Day Services. The post will be based within the Dundonald Centre.


The successful candidate will be expected to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team, which includes healthcare professionals and local authority colleagues. This role involves working people experiencing severe and/or enduring mental health issues, with a focus on skills development and community reintegration. The position will also require close collaboration with the voluntary sector.


Upon completion of the necessary induction and training, the selected candidate will manage an allocated individual patient caseload under the supervision of Community Mental Health Nurses and Occupational Therapists. Candidates must possess relevant experience and strong understanding of the Recovery Model, demonstrating a commitment to a recovery-focussed approach in their work.


You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.

Hours of work are: 22 per week between 9am-5pm Monday –Friday however there is an aspiration for community services to be 7 days per week which you would be required to participate in.
