Band 5 - Staff Nurse
NHS Grampian is now recruiting Final Year Nursing Students (Learning disabilities/Mental Health Branch) or nurses who are looking for their first registered nurse post since graduating from a UK university. You must be graduating from an NMC approved undergraduate programme.

Loirston Ward is an assessment and treatment ward, which provides care for adults who have learning disabilities and complex mental health needs. Strathbeg Ward provides care and support for individuals with learning disabilities who have come into contact with the Criminal Justice Service or have identifiable risk management needs. These wards are part of, and located within, NHS Grampian’s Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Service.
Applicants should have a caring and compassionate nature and have a genuine interest in working in a specialist learning disability inpatient setting. The successful candidates will be expected to work a rotational shift pattern which includes day and night shift duties (once completed their flying start), and must be flexible to work across all service areas within the Learning Disability In-Patient service.
Once your application has been successfully accepted you will be invited to interview where a representative from both wards will be present.
