NHS Forth Valley are recruiting to their Cyber and Information Security Team. This is a rare opportunity for someone wishing to build and develop their skills in an increasingly important sector.

Based within the Information Governance Unit, the post holder will help to establish and maintain standards as required by the Network and Information Systems Regulation and Data Protection legislation. They will be responsible for monitoring key Cyber Security Systems and Technical controls for NHS Forth Valley and will be involved in collaboration work with partner organisations on a range of complex and sensitive security issues. They will also have the opportunity to contribute to and participate in development and implementation of relevant policy and strategy documentation as required.

We are looking for someone with a flexible approach to work, excellent presentation, negotiation, facilitation skills with the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

In-house and external training and support will be provided with the post holder expected to work towards recognised professional certifications. Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.

The duties of this post require the successful candidate to complete a Level 2 Disclosure Scotland check.
