Clackmannanshire and Stirling Health and Social Care Partnership is committed to delivering exceptional Mental Health and Learning Disability (MHLD) Services. As we develop our Partnership we are seeking to appoint a Clinical Governance Lead to play a key and integral role in providing clinical governance support and guidance within MHLD service areas.

Ensuring system implementation of audit activity, compiling reports and disseminating shared learning will be key aspects of the role. The role will also support the development of key electronic systems as well as support the Adverse Review Group to discharge its responsibilities.

This post involves working closely with the Senior Managers, Clinical and Non-Clinical staff in NHS Forth Valley and the Forth Valley Health and Social Care Partnerships, as well as potentially liaising with patients and carers. The aim is to continuously improve systems, structures and processes of care delivery in accordance with national and local priorities.

The post will provide support relating to clinical governance and facilitate and provide practical assistance, guidance and advice to all staff within NHS Forth Valley and the local Health and Social Care Partnerships in determining and undertaking activities associated with clinical governance, quality, adverse events and service development.

The post will identify, plan, prioritise and support in the development and progress of the clinical governance framework and toolkit and support service leads to ensure that clinical governance and patient safety is a priority across Mental Health and Learning Disability Services.
