Applications are invited to join the team in Moss Park Nursing Home, Fort William.

Qualified Registered General Nurse or Mental Health Nurse, minimum 1 year post registration experience desirable however additional training could be supported through a robust and extended orientation plan for newly qualified nurses. Previous Elderly or Dementia Care advantageous.

Moss Park is a purpose-built care home with 39 beds offering nursing and dementia care.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the clinical care he/she provides within the care home , ensuring quality and standards of care are implemented as agreed with the Resident, Family and Care Home Manager.

To act as the named nurse for a delegated group of residents, planning, implementing and evaluating individualised, person centred programmes of care including the delivery of high standards of care to residents and their families.

The team in Lochaber work with a Multidisciplinary approach and as such applicants must have excellent communication and team working skills.

Applicants should hold a Current NMC Registration or working to fulfil the requirements of Return to Practise in Nursing.
