We are seeking a motivated and experienced senior member of staff to join our Community Nursing Team within the Mid Argyll Community Hospital and Integrated Care Centre. They would be required to work over an extensive rural geographical area with the responsibility of caseload management and visit allocations. This could be a good opportunity for someone to advance into a senior position or for someone looking for a change. They would be responsible for leading and providing support to colleagues including HCSW.

The Mid Argyll Community Nursing Team work closely with the multi professional Health and Social Care Teams to provide the best care and outcomes for patients and clients within the Mid Argyll locality.

The team are dynamic, forward thinking and continue to strive to promote community care. The post holder will be imperative in using their senior nursing skills along with assessment skills to reduce hospital admission and provide support and education to junior members of staff.

The post holder will be expected to chair the Mid Argyll Virtual ward and other patient specific meetings in the absence of the Team Lead. Ideally we are looking for someone with a District Nurse qualification or plans for further education in the next few years to obtain it.
