An opportunity has arisen for hardworking individuals to join a new nursing team and ward that will care for patients from a variety of specialties and conditions pre- and post-surgery. The ward will be open 5 days per week – Monday to Friday and include day and nightshifts

You will work as part of the nursing team fulfilling the role of healthcare support worker, including general healthcare assistant duties, some clerical, administrative and housekeeping / infection control duties. You must be able to work independently, prioritising workload in an environment that is constantly changing. We are looking for someone who is organised, with excellent communication skills and able to work well within a small team environment. Familiarity with NHS systems such as TRAKCARE & PECOS would be beneficial. Caring experience would be an advantage.

You will be required to undertake any necessary training, to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
