This is a permanent, full time position.

The shift pattern for this position is Long Day Dayshift & Nightshift Rotation.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Alcohol and Drug Recovery Services for a Health Care Support Worker to join our Inpatient Services on a permanent basis.

Working as part of the multi-disciplinary team daily, the post holder will have the opportunity to be involved in the delivery of high quality, patient-centred care for individuals requiring care and treatment for alcohol and substance use.

Applicants should be able to evidence and demonstrate a strong desire and motivation to practice within an inpatient alcohol and drug recovery service with the ability to provide high quality, person always centred and compassionate care.

Effective verbal, written and electronic communication skills are essential as well as effective time management.

Applicants must be able to fulfil the main duties and responsibilities as outlined within the job description.

The initial base for this post will be within Eriskay House, Stobhill Hospital.

The shift pattern is currently 37 hours per week, long day pattern for dayshift and rotational nightshift.
