An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health Care Support Worker to join our team in the development of our Community Treatment and Care Service in Perth City, based in Drumhar Health Centre.
The post holder will contribute to the work of the Community Treatment and Care Services team in providing the highest quality of healthcare, supporting the Registered Nurses in the running of a variety of clinics including management of wounds, phlebotomy, chronic disease monitoring and related data collection.
Working with a diverse caseload, you will work with the team along with other service professionals, to meet the needs of patients providing safe holistic, patient centred and evidence based care.
You will work in partnership, based on the values of the organisation, with other agencies, patient’s carers and relatives as we work towards enhancing the community multi disciplinary team and integrated models of working.
Applicants must have a positive attitude to change and endeavour to deliver high standards of patient care. You should have evidence of continuing development pertinent to the role although we are committed to delivering and supporting ongoing training and development.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.

Hours of work are: 30 hours per week - This is currently Monday to Friday.
