Children’s Specialist Nurse: Complex Palliative Care

Band 6

29.7 hours / 0.8wte


An exciting opportunity has arisen for registered nurse - child, who is keen to develop their scope of practice and clinical experience by joining the multidisciplinary teams within Children and Young Peoples Services.


The Children’s Nurse Specialist: Complex Palliative Care, will be expected to contribute to the NHS Tayside team.


The individual must be able to demonstrate leadership and professional knowledge and experience within this role including an understanding of caseload management.


The individual will work across the Children & Young Peoples Service- Tayside providing cover (either clinical or managerial) where needed during periods of leave and workload pressures.


The post will be based in Armistead Child Development Centre, part of Tayside Children’s Hospital, Ninewells Hospital Dundee.


The ability to travel/work across Tayside and the surrounding area is essential.

You must be UK NMC Registered: Registered Nurse - Child.
