An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Pre-Operative Assessment Clinic to join our team.
Pre Operative Assessment is a dynamic team who are continually developing to meet the ever changing needs of the service. The team have embraced using a digital platform in order for patients to participate in their pre- assessment process.
Pre Op Assessment is looking to recruit an enthusiastic staff nurse to join our friendly team. Our department is responsible for optimising and assessing patient suitability for elective surgery. It is essential the candidate should have previous surgical experience at Band 5 level.
Candidates should be highly motivated, flexible and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as pre assessment nurses are required to liaise with all members of the multidisciplinary team. Good time management and organisational skills are advantageous.
The post requires working as part of a team as well as working autonomously, training and support will be provided and although the department is very busy the role can be both challenging and rewarding.
Student nurses due to qualify in 2025 will be considered
Working Pattern currently is Monday to Friday 08:30-16:30
