An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Child Health Occupational Therapy Service for a Band 4 HCSW to join our team for 4 months. Our service provides a three tiered model of service delivery including universal, targeted and specialist interventions to children and young people from birth to 18 years. This post will be within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) OT team based in Dundee providing a service to CYP across Tayside.
This post will offer the post holder the opportunity to work with children and young people within the CAMHS OT team, gaining valuable knowledge and experience in Child Health Occupational Therapy within the area of mental health. You will be required to work in a variety of community settings including home visits, mainstream schools, and out-patient clinics. The post holder may work closely with a wide range of professionals and agencies including other health professionals within CAMHS, education and social work.
We are looking for an individual who has good communication skills and is committed to multi disciplinary team working.
The Occupational Therapy Service offers supervision, appraisal, regular in-service training and is committed to Continued Professional Development.

Hours of work are: Band 4 post, fixed term/secondment for 4 months : 37 hours per week. Part time hours considered.
