This is a permanent, full time position.
The shift pattern for this position is 9am-5pm, Mon-Fri.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Healthcare Support Worker in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) based at Barrhead Health and Care Centre in East Renfrewshire. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing health care to children and young people (cyp) open to CAMHS. You will work alongside colleagues to meet the holistic needs of children and young people including undertaking physical observations and bloods. You may also be required to work from Eastwood, attend schools, and homes in the community.
What you will do:
This opportunity is available to individuals who have a genuine interest in working with children and adolescents. Previous experience in working with individuals experiencing mental health problems is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
You will be responsible for delivering person centred care, evidence based, strength and recovery focused interventions and will also promote collaborative working within a multi-disciplinary team and across multi agency services.
