Temporary Palliative Care Counsellor (6 months)*

Fife-wide (main base Victoria Hospice, Kirkcaldy)

36 hours per week Monday - Friday

An opportunity has arisen for a compassionate, enthusiastic individual to join our Palliative Care Counselling Team based within the Hospice at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy. Normally the team comprises 4 counsellors – 2 for adult clients and 2 for children and families support, however due to unforeseen circumstances we are looking to recruit temporarily into the team.

You will have experience of providing counselling services and will have a Diploma or Degree in Counselling. Knowledge of palliative care and the impact of life limiting disease would be beneficial.

Counselling services are provided face to face, by telephone and online. The successful candidate will join a highly motivated and supportive team who are committed to providing high quality counselling services.

Please note the salary for this post is pro rata to part time hours if applicable.
