We are looking for a highly motivated person to join our busy team of cheerful and hardworking staff in the Medical Records Department. Your role will consist of the scanning of patient records and related documents into an electronic format, ensuring proper indexing and categorisation for easy retrieval. You will be responsible for reviewing scanned images for quality and ensure they meet the standards for accuracy and legibility. You will provide support and guidance in regards to records procedures and standard, including the monitoring, audit and rectification of errors and missing data. Therefore, you must be able to work in an organised manner and at times under pressure.
The role would also include cross-cover for other areas, including Ward / Outpatient / ED reception, Outpatient Appointments and Switchboard, and will involve working additional hours on a regular basis.
Ideally, successful applicant will be numerate and committed individuals who have an aptitude for attention to detail and accuracy. Team working is essential, but you will also need to use your own initiative.
This is a permanent part-time 14.9 hours per week post, worked Monday- Friday.
