Sandyford is the Specialist Sexual and Reproductive Health Service provider for the population of NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde. Our focus is on person centred assessment of need when managing undifferentiated presentations, providing treatment and care for individuals symptomatic of acute sexual infection. This includes partner notification as part of our population public health role in reducing sexual infection and blood borne virus transmission. The service has embarked on an ambitious program of change, developing a nurse led community service. We have a cohesive, enthusiastic, dynamic, flexible and professional team. As one of our team of Advanced Clinical Nurse Specialists, you will provide direct patient care, will have sound clinical knowledge and highly developed clinical decision-making skills. As an expert clinical practitioner you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership to the team. We pride ourselves on having a friendly and welcoming team – both Nursing and Medical – where you get the support that you need. If you are looking to achieve something new every day – learning clinical skills, learning new life skills, meeting new people and having a positive impact on patient experience – this is the opportunity for you. We guarantee learning and development time to support your core learning needs and can offer financial support to obtain core Masters level qualifications required to fulfil the role.
