Rotational Specialist (Band 6) Paediatric Physiotherapist
18.5 hours/week

NHS Grampian Paediatric Physiotherapist (rotational) Combined Child Health
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with experience of working with children. We are currently looking to recruit to our combined child heath physiotherapy team. The post involves rotating between various in-patient and out-patient settings throughout Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire, including Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital (RACH) and the Child Development Teams. Initially, the post-holder will be based within the MSK team at The Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital. Previous experience in working with children and young people is essential. The successful candidate will be involved in the assessment and treatment of children of all ages with a wide variety of conditions including MSK, neurological, neuromuscular, rheumatology, orthopaedic, post-surgical, developmental, complex needs and respiratory. Support will be given by a team of experienced band 7 staff through close team working, formal and informal supervision in the context of a multi-disciplinary approach.
As RACH is a teaching hospital and has a wide range of specialist services, some covering the whole of the North of Scotland, we offer excellent opportunities for personal and professional development. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the respiratory on call rota with occasional weekend working.
