An exciting opportunity has arisen within NHS Forth Valley Radiology Department to join our Team Leaders and be a part of the MRI Core Team. This role will facilitate continued development of our teams, and you will be required to work with the existing leadership team to ensure safe and effective running of the MRI service. This role will ensure that 1.6wte B7 Radiographers will oversee the two MRI scanners and service.

NHSFV has 2 GE MRI scanners (1.5T & 3T) and are looking for an experienced and educated MRI Radiographer to join their team.

The Forth Valley MRI service runs 7-days a week: 7.30am-8.30pm, 365-days a year. The successful candidate will be required to assist clinically in the cover of this service including participating in the weekend roster. Administrative time is an important factor in this role, which will assist in service developments, HR management, and Roster formation.

The successful individual requires an extensive practical MRI training and experience, complimented with Formal further education. There must be a willingness to support role development, training of staff, and general management of an MRI service. Please be prepared to present well documented evidence of Continuing Professional Development.

We are interested in ambitious and talented Radiographers with excellent technical and interpersonal skills. Working as part of a dynamic and small team is an essential requirement for this role.

It is anticipated that the successful candidate will be an HCPC registered Diagnostic Radiographer in possession of the DCR and/or BSc/BSc Hons in Diagnostic Radiography.
