- Hours : 20 hours per week for each post
- 1 Shift Patterns : Mon- Fri 0800-1200
- 2 Shift Pattern : Mon-Fri 1200-1600
- This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Heath and Care Worker visa. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is unable to provide candidates or employees with a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).

Working as part of the Catering Team, assisting in all aspects of food preparation, service, wash-up and cleaning duties relating to the provision of catering services to patients, staff, visitors and for functions.
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES :
- · All aspects of production kitchen cleaning ensuring work schedules are followed
- · Cleaning and wash-up of all equipment, machinery, crockery associated with Catering services
- · Assist in the preparation of food service
- · Receipt and storage of supplies
- · Removal and disposal of waste
- · Report faults to supervisor
- · Maintain high standards of personal and general food hygiene
- · Deliver dining room service to patients/staff/visitors/functions, patient food service and menu collation at ward level
- · Cash handling
- · Report any faults to supervisor
- · Use equipment only as instructed
- · Work in a safe manner and give consideration to others around you
- · Ensure all statutory and Divisional procedures are followed
- Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours.
As part of the role you will have a lot of contact with patients so good communication skills are essential.
Training will be provided including 3 days induction prior to commencement of role
You must have right to work in UK for the duration of your employment and be able to provide at least two references from current or most previous employment/education covering the last 3 years.
