Clinical Fellow in Emergency Medicine

University Hospital Monklands (UHM) is looking to appoint Clinical Fellows from August 2025 for a period of 12 months in the first instance.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within Emergency Medicine, contributing to the Junior Rota (full shift), seeing both minor and major presentations.

You will be well supported by Consultant colleagues and the wider Emergency Medicine team, and will have access to weekly teaching sessions, some of which include clinical simulation, and regular educational activities.

The successful candidate will be familiar with the principles of clinical audit styles, participate in audit projects and will be actively encouraged to initiate and pursue their own projects.

NHS Lanarkshire is constantly reviewing its rotas to maintain New Deal compliance together with the new arrangements as set down by the Scottish Government and Scottish Medical Training (SMT). Rotas therefore, may be subject to change.
