As a member of the Department of Spiritual Care, you will be involved in exciting and challenging work as the department continues to review and develop its services for a modern healthcare setting. Be part of a team of trained practitioners in pastoral care, active listening, bereavement support, faith support and staff supervision.
Based between Ninewells Hospital, Royal Victoria Hospital and Community you will facilitate spiritual care for patients, carers and staff in these locations and as required by the department. This means we accompany people as they explore not only their fears, doubts and frustrations, but also any hopes, strengths and choices.
You must be able to demonstrate an understanding of spiritual care, your competence for the post by reflecting on previous experience of spiritual care in a healthcare setting and hold appropriate qualifications for this post (degree level or equivalent).
