Health Care Support Worker – Urology Ward
Band 3

Are you looking to join a supportive and dynamic team within a busy acute hospital setting? The Urology Ward at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Health Care Support Worker to contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
As part of the multidisciplinary team, you will assist in the care of patients undergoing treatment for a range of urological conditions. This is a ward-based role involving direct patient care, supporting both nursing and medical staff in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care and support to patients
Assist with mobility, nutrition, and hygiene needs
Maintain a clean and safe ward environment
Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and colleagues
What we are looking for:
A compassionate and professional approach to patient care
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
Previous experience in a hospital or care setting is desirable but not essential
Hours & Shifts
This is a full time position, working 12-hour shifts on a day/night rotation.
Planned interview date: 17th September 2025, face to face interview only
