The shift pattern for this post is shift pattern is; 11.5 hours- days & nights rotation including weekends.

Please note the salary is pro rata for part time hours.


An exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 2 Healthcare Support Worker to join our team on Ward 2C (ARU) at The Royal Hospital for Children. We are a busy 40 bedded receiving unit, providing high quality family centred care for elective and emergency admissions. The successful candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, work effectively within the multi-disciplinary team and be prepared to participate in ongoing learning. You would be expected to deliver high quality, evidenced based, patient and family centred care to patients of varying levels of dependency. You will have the ability to prioritise your work load in a fast paced environment.
