Position:
An opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Physiotherapist (Trauma & Othopaedics) based at University Hospital Crosshouse on a fixed term/secondment opportunity for 9 months.
What you will do:
As a senior clinician, you will work within a team who specialise in the management of acute orthopaedic conditions and surgery, including the rehabilitation of patients recovering from surgery or illness, and be involved in the planning and facilitation of complex discharges whilst working closely with the other members of the multi-disciplinary team. You will provide clinical and profession support to the rotational and healthcare support members of our team, as well as supporting the Team Lead
Physiotherapist in non-clinical tasks.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
Excellent communication, leadership, team working, organisational and time management skills are essential. An interest in service review and quality improvement is desirable. You must be HCPC registered and have relevant clinical experience in the acute hospital environment and inorthopaedic and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Participation in the evening and weekend Out of Hours on call rota is required.
Hours:
37 per week
Driving Licence/Car Ownership:
A car licence/car ownership is essential to this role.
