Substantive post, Full and Part time hours available
Band 3* - Salary Range £28,011 - £30,230 per annum (pro rata for part time posts)
Distant Island Allowance of £2,482 per annum (pro rata for part time posts)
Shift pattern for Main reception
Morning Shift | 0800 - 1600 |
Evening Shift | 1600 - 0000 |
Night Shift | 0000 - 0800 |
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable individual who is comfortable working morning, evening and night shifts in accordance with the departmental rota.
Do you have secretarial skills, reception skills or would be interested in general office experience? Do you have experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Standard Grade or equivalent in English? Would you like to play a key role in our busy Medical Records team?
Gilbert Bain Hospital Reception serves as the first place of contact for visitors and patients but is also a vital service centre providing essential support 24/7 for hospital and wider community teams. The department plays a pivotal role in ensuring timely responses, effective communication, and the coordination of resources.
*You will initially be appointed at Band 2 level (Salary range £25,694 – £27,900 per annum pro-rata) rising to Band 3 once successful completion of competencies.
