Clinical Fellow in Palliative Medicine
Salary: Reflective of previous experience Resident Doctor pay scale
Location: Ardgowan Hospice, Greenock
Hours: 32 - 40 hours per week including weekends + participation in a 1-in-5 non-residential on-call. Fixed term for one year.
This is an exciting stage in the development of the hospice as we begin to implement new models of care, arising from our recently developed strategy, with the patient at the centre of everything we do. To support this, we require to strengthen our medical team with a Clinical Fellow. Initially working primarily within our 8-bedded inpatient unit, you will also have the opportunity to develop skills in community palliative care.
We are looking for someone with passion and enthusiasm to work closely with nursing and other multi-professional staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality care. This post is suitable for any doctor with at least 2 years post-registration experience and an interest in either a career in palliative care or gaining experience to take into general practice, oncology, or another branch of medicine.
You will be joining a friendly, experienced, and supportive multi-professional team including a Consultant and 2 Specialty Doctors in Palliative Medicine.
