An exciting opportunity has arisen for a healthcare assistant to work as a member of our nursing team within Tay Ward based in Perth Royal Infirmary.

Tay Ward provides rehabilitation care for older adults. We promote a multidisciplinary approach to person centred care by supporting personal and therapeutic goal setting to enable patients to meet their optimum level of independence on discharge.

You will deliver quality and individualised care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and as part of the wider multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team within this busy environment.

You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.

Hours of work are: 37 hours - currently working a 12-hour shift pattern. Fixed Term for 23 months
