An exciting opportunity has arisen to take forward an integral project around HSCPs’ Primary Care Improvement Plans and the transformational agenda that is currently being taken forward in General Practice.
This role is aligned to the GP Re-provisioning Programme which will migrate over 200 GP clinical systems to new software which is cloud hosted. To support the implementation, we require an experienced Prescribing Support Technician staff to work with the Programme Team, GP practices and HSCP attached staff within the Board.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Prescribing Support Technician to join the eHealth team. The post will require excellent communication and IT skills, working within a team of GP IT facilitators (supported by Central Prescribing Team Pharmacy Technicians). The post holder must be proficient with datasets, in data analysis and Microsoft packages software and be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication, planning and organisation skills and be able to work independent. This post will be agile, with a mixture of office, practice-based and home working required.
Working closely with healthcare professionals across the Board, you will contribute to setting out how digital technology will help transform services to provide a truly integrated and modern health and social care service.
