An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Phlebotomy Department at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
The post holder should be educated to a minimum standard grade level with at least 3 years hospital phlebotomy experience. The post holder will be expected to perform venepuncture in a fast paced clinical environment, as a Senior Phlebotomist the post holder will also be responsible for duties such as rota, staff supervision and communicating with Phlebotomy Lead to ensure smooth running of the department. Good communication skills are essential, the post holder should have the ability to work on their own as well as part of a group.
This post will be on a 5/7 day working week rota.
