Part-time Advanced Nurse Practitioner Post

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join our progressive and supportive team.

About Us

  • Single-site practice with a patient population of approximately 10,000
  • Team includes 3 GP Partners and 4 Salaried GPs
  • Well-established acute care team
  • Supportive and experienced administrative and nursing staff
  • Encouragement and support for developing special interests

Role Overview

As an ANP, you will work autonomously and collaboratively within our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients. You will assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions and contribute to the ongoing development of clinical services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently assess, triage and manage patients presenting with undifferentiated and diagnosed conditions
  • Prescribe medications appropriately as an Independent Prescriber
  • Initiate and interpret test results
  • Develop and implement treatment plans

Working Hours

  • Part-time position: 16–24 hours per week
  • Week days to be agreed by negotiation

Salary

  • Band 6 - 7: £41,608 – £59,159 per annum (pro rata) depending on experience

Training & Development Opportunities

  • Support for postgraduate education, including MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice and Independent Prescribing qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

  • Registered Nurse with active NMC registration
  • MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent Level 7 qualification
  • Independent Prescribing qualification
  • Experience in primary care and autonomous clinical decision-making
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
